ONE
I honor you in your process
As you awaken to what is whole
In you, I see the Beloved
And the secrets of our soul
Together we share a light
In you, I see its reflection
It shines across the universe
Rejoicing in our connection
With joy, I share my Love with you
So that you may receive
And everything I give away
Flows joyously to me
The energy that lights the moon
Is the same that ignites the sun
This energy is in you and me
And together, we all are ONE.

ESSENCE
We are like buds of a flower
Within the bud is a seed, our spirit
Nurture the seed, with love, peace, humility and service
And your spirit blossoms into the world to share it’s beauty.
Neglect the seed, with hatred, fear, greed and violence
And remain nothing but a bud waiting to experience itself.

BORN
Fairytales play like records in my mind
Open-hearted, I build sandcastle bridges to different worlds
The sun shines upon me casting shadows that I make my friends
Weaving life like dances around the fabric of reality
When did I loose these child-life glasses that I saw the world with?
Sitting in this mind-cage, doing the mask dance on stage
Performance done, I crawl back inside
Blank-faced, no purpose – puppet strings choking me
A distant knocking sounds on my heart, pounding
Who am I and what have I become?
Angels fly into my dreams, satellites from heaven
Calling me to awaken and leave the illusory slumber
Breath struggling under this water glass surface
I remember and burst through, born again
Goodbye cocoon – now I’m butterfly dancing on sky

COMPASS
The road of life can be rough
as it twists and winds.
The compass we should follow
is not found in the mind.
You can ask for directions
on which way you should go.
But when you look inside yourself
you’ll realize that you know.
Your ego tries distracting you
and tells you that you’re wrong.
Your heart calls to remind you
that you’ve known it all along.
Will you follow fear
not looking where you step?
Or listen to your heart
Where your true compass is kept?

HOME
Nothing worse than silence
When I feel so alone
The world seems a distant place
And I’m so far away from home
Keep traveling the distance
In search of the unknown
Trying to keep the faith
Is like water breaking stone
Keep searching for that star
To lead me back to home
Wishing it would shine for me
I’m so lost and so alone
This snow-globe of a life
Makes me feel confined
I try so hard to find my way
Only to lose my mind
Somewhere in the distance
I saw a brilliant light
Like a shining beacon
Bursting through the night
As I reached the source
An angel stood with grace
He beamed a smile so loving
And offered his embrace
He told me he had a secret
That he would like to share
He said to me, “Your home
Is waiting for you in there”
He pointed to my heart
I looked up at him in awe
It was then I realized
The search I had was flawed
I’d been searching far and wide
Trying to find the key
My sleeping heart forgot
The answer was inside of me

REFLECTIONS
She sat at the edge of the riverbank
The wind gently blowing her hair
A purple flower tucked behind her ear
And the warm sun comforted her
Birds chirped in the green trees above her
Warming her soul with their song
Bees buzzed from flower to flower
And butterflies danced in the air
The long sagging branch of an old willow tree
Skimmed the end of a limb in the gently flowing water
Making swirls on the surface where water meets tree
In their own silent dance
Brilliant wildflowers sprung all around
Like rainbows painted in the grass
Scenting the air with their sweet perfume
Swaying gracefully with the wind
She stared at down at her reflection in the water
Watching the tears stream down her cheeks
She imagined the river washing them away
Along with all of the loneliness and sadness
She felt her connection with nature, with life
And she felt peace and love in her heart
She thanked God for all of the beauty around her
And she asked God to help her find the beauty within her

REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE
You have forgotten who you ARE
You fell asleep and got lost in the dream
When you feel small and alone
Lost and unworthy
Scared and hopeless
I am here with you
Waiting for you to awaken
In your slumber
You see glimpses of the Truth
Your spirit stirs
And Love calls you Home
There is no need to suffer
You need only to awaken
When you look
Through the eyes of the Beloved
You see everything…
You see that you are everything
And all else is just an illusion…

SOURCE
You are the song to which I dance
The love that embraces me
You are the purpose for my being
And the light that helps me see
You are the sun that awakens me
Warming each day that starts
You are the beautiful ribbon
That holds together my heart
You are the blue that creates the sky
The song that the little birds sing
You’re in the eyes of every being
For you are in everything

SPIRIT
Think of me in the sunset
In all of it’s glorious hues
Think of me in the ocean
In it’s sparkling waves of blue
Think of me in a rainbow
In it’s beautiful mystique
Think of me in the wind
As it gently caresses your cheek
Think of me in a flower
In it’s brilliant bloom
Think of me in the sky
In the starshine and the moon
Think of me in the grass
A soft blanket over earth
Think of me when you hear
A newborn’s cries at birth
Think of me as a bird
As it flies so high and free
Think of all these things
And here you will find me

STIRRINGS
Something in you
Stirred something in me
I wasn’t quite sure what it was
And when I looked into my heart
I realized that it was Love.

SURRENDER TO LOVE
Shine the light of your Spirit into the world.
Those with eyes closed, seeing darkness
May squint in pain and fear at your light
They, in their blindness, may judge you
This is a call to surrender deeper to Love
It is in this surrender
That our spirits shine brighter
A beacon to our Brothers and Sisters
To awaken to Truth

NOW
Before, when I hid my heart
I could pretend and deny
I could live in fear and lack
With many reasons why
I could claim that life was scary
And only care about me
I could give up all my dreams
Due to lack of security
After living in this illusion
A skipping record in my mind
I realized I was unhappy
And living my life blind
I decided that I was good enough
And it’s okay to just be me
I let go of the small thoughts
That I so carelessly believed
Now, my heart is open
And I cannot go back
I choose love and abundance
Instead of fear and lack
I choose to make a difference
Make this world a better place
Peace, love, joy, compassion
Uniting the human race
